Maliko Labs Inc. is an independent software company incorporated in British Columbia. We build and run our own products, and we don’t take client work.
How it started
For four years our household has kept every shared purchase in a spreadsheet: a template tab for each month, a 50/50 split with exceptions for things that were only for one of us, a pie chart, and separate tabs for gas, the mortgage and the backyard.
It works, but it only gets filled in once a month, weeks after the receipts arrive. EvenHearth keeps the sheet’s rules and moves the typing to the moment you buy something.

How our software behaves today, and why.
A person checks before anything counts.
A scanned receipt is a draft until someone confirms it, because a misread total throws off what two people owe each other.
Corrections don’t erase history.
Once a month is closed, a correction goes in as an adjusting entry and the original stays where it was, so you can always see what changed and when.

Export everything whenever you like. Stop using EvenHearth and your history stays readable and exportable.
We use it before you do.
Each flow is walked by hand on a real phone before we sign it off, and our own household moves over before EvenHearth opens to the public.

EvenHearth is the first thing we’re making. A second product goes on this site once it exists, not before.
